Hailing from eclectically diverse musical backgrounds and notoriety, equally curious and obscure in nature, Bec Matthews and Jamie Swann amalgamated musical forces in 2023 and formed BACKYARD UTOPIA.
They bring to the stage an intriguing, contemplative and meditative music repertoire.
Featuring the Kora (21 string West African Harp), Kamelngoni (West African harp), Banjo, Cigar Box and Guitar. Incorporating modern influences with ancient strings and quirky storytelling vibes.
