On every Sunday, The Daylesford Sunday Market is run in conjunction with the Daylesford Spa Country Railway. Together they are a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike. Take the trip down memory lane on the historic train and return to fill up your boot with treasures and your weekly produce shop.
There are two types of stallholders at the Daylesford Sunday Market; those with allocated sites, and casuals who bring something new and different each Sunday. Stalls can vary from honey and vegetables, to clothing and bric-a-brac.
The Daylesford Sunday Market operates every Sunday, rain, hail, snow or shine, at the Daylesford Railway Station. The only exception is if the market falls on Christmas Day or if the day is deemed a ‘Code Red’ with the highest fire warning level.
Hours
Operating hours are from 8am to 1pm, with the market winding down after midday. On days of poor weather, the market may close earlier with stallholders permitted to leave earlier.
